TENUGUI is the traditional Japanese towel, produced with Japanese special technique. It is different from the modern print.
This dyeing technique is called Chuzome in japan. it's invented in the Meiji era(1868-1916). This is a kind of traditional printing. It pours dye into a piece of cloth, which waterproofed with paste partially and draws a design.
the front side and back side are dyed by the totally same. thoes complicated design and many colors are made by expert craftsman.

This tenugui is hand dyeing.
It discolors by sweat and friction at begining. Please be careful.
At the beginning, please make hand-washing with water alone.
Don't leave it in water for long time, and please avoid the bleach.
